There will be many conversations about what UK gov can do in future to be better prepared for crises. I honestly think near the top of the list should be reinventing procurement. (which needed doing anyway). I suspect gov simply doesn’t know how to procure from 1000 SMEs.

#AskRishi like many #SocEnts & charities we share space to keep overheads lean. no rates bill = no £10k. As face-to-face work has stopped, so has our income. #SocEnts need support cos society needs them to survive. Make the £10k available to legitimate biz without rates bills
