NHS ConfedExpo is done, and one question came up again and again: how do we reach young people earlier, before needs escalate? That's exactly what Soluna by Kooth is designed to do. Built on 25 years of NHS partnership, Soluna gives local systems a trusted, scalable way to move upstream - extending mental health support in ways young people will actually engage with, strengthening pathways into specialist care, and delivering the data commissioners need to demonstrate impact. Phased. Carefully managed. Clinically governed. Ready for what's next. If you'd like to continue the conversation, we'd love to hear from you. #Soluna #Kooth #NHS #YoungPeoplesMentalHealth #EarlyIntervention

Young people are increasingly turning to social media and unregulated AI for mental health advice. Soluna offers something different: clinically governed, professionally delivered support - built to some of the highest safeguarding standards in digital mental healthcare, fully aligned with the Online Safety Act. The evidence backs it up. Independent research from Northwestern University's Lab for Scalable Mental Health found young people using Soluna experienced significant reductions in psychological distress within one month, with sustained improvements at three months across anxiety, depression, loneliness and quality of life. #NHSConfed2026 #EvidenceBased #DigitalMentalHealth #Safeguarding

we're at @ConfedExpo and we're bringing something new. Introducing Soluna by Kooth - a new mental health app and website that's completely free and confidential. Built on 25 years of clinical expertise, Soluna is the next evolution of digital mental health support for young people - designed around how they actually seek help today. The foundations commissioners and system partners already know remain exactly the same: the clinical model, safeguarding standards, governance and professional practitioners. What's new is the experience - shaped by young people themselves, from language and tone to functionality and accessibility. Soluna will help local systems move upstream, reaching more young people before needs escalate, reducing pressure on services and strengthening pathways into care. Come and find us today at stand F101 to see it in action! #NHSConfed #Soluna #DigitalMentalHealth #EarlyIntervention

Our senior pupils @PrimaryPentland took part in a webinar in partnership with @kooth_plc. They learned all about children's mental health and how we might feel as we prepare to move to Secondary School 👍.

“I was particularly struck by the passion and drive the young people I spoke with demonstrated regarding mental health awareness. They were not only keen to use Kooth to support their own wellbeing, but also eager to share it with their friends, families, and schools.” Kooth Engagement Lead, Ginder Kundi , after attending “Hopes & Dreams” at City Hall. Across the day, Ginder connected with young people who were curious, open and motivated to make a difference in how mental health is talked about and supported in their communities. It was also a great opportunity to collaborate with partners, from workshop leaders like @TheMOTSCharity to Youth Council representatives and organisations such as @MakeVotesMatter Moments like these are a reminder of why accessible, youth-focused mental health support matters so much, and how much impact young people can have when they’re given the space to lead the conversation. #YouthVoice #MentalHealthMatters #Kooth #CommunityEngagement

Young people are talking about stress. Are we really listening? For Stress Awareness Month, we’re sharing an episode of the Kooth podcast created with young people, for young people, in collaboration with Manchester charity, HideOut Youth Zone. In this episode, we hear from Max, Kane and Jennifer as they open up about “secret stresses” – the everyday pressures that build up but often go unspoken. It is an honest and relatable conversation that offers real insight into what young people are carrying right now. This is a strong example of the content we create for and with young people across our service. Their voices shape what we do, making support relevant, accessible and grounded in real experiences. If you commission or work with services for young people, this is a valuable opportunity to hear directly from them. It can help deepen understanding of the small but significant things that affect their wellbeing. Take a listen: lnkd.in/ejAqJKfr #AntiStress #AntiStressAwareness #YoungPeople #MentalHealth

“We can’t expect to have all the answers ourselves, and it’s ok to ask for support.” - Prince William. It’s encouraging to see conversations about mental health, especially men’s mental health, being brought further into the spotlight. Hearing influential voices openly discuss emotions, vulnerability, and the importance of asking for help normalises these conversations and makes it easier for others to do the same. Let’s keep the conversation going, keep educating, and keep reminding people that support is there and ensure that accessing help feels possible and stigma-free. What does bridging the gap in mental health support actually look like? It’s embedding ourselves within our communities. From delivering assemblies at @MonkseatonHigh and @BelmontAbbey, to collaborating with NHS Healthy Heads and local GPs, the goal remains simple: ensure every young person knows where to turn. ⚽️ One highlight: Joining the South Tyneside Young Carers at @SouthShieldsFC. Whether it’s in a school hall or a football stadium, meeting young people where they are is how we continue to build an accessible ecosystem of care. Huge thanks to all our North East partners for the incredible warm welcome! #MentalHealthSupport #NorthEast #CommunityImpact #Kooth

Exam season doesn’t just show up in the classroom. It shows up at the dinner table. At bedtime. In worried conversations and silent pressure. That’s why we’re inviting parents and carers to join a free 45-minute Kooth webinar to support young people who are stressed about exams. In this practical, supportive session, a member of our Community Engagement team will be joined by a Kooth clinician to share: • Simple, realistic strategies to help young people manage exam anxiety • How to spot signs that suggest a young person may need additional support • Guidance on when and how to take further action • How Kooth can provide safe, accessible support alongside what families are already doing If you work in schools, healthcare or community settings, we’d really value your help in sharing this with the parents and carers you connect with. As part of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, we spent the day at Sunderland College speaking with students about emotional resilience, healthy relationships and, most importantly, how to access support when they need it. It’s one example of the wide range of workshops, assemblies and engagement sessions we deliver in schools and colleges across the UK. The aim is always the same: make support visible, make conversations normal, and ensure young people know they’re not on their own. #ChildrensMentalHealth #YouthMentalHealth #StudentWellbeing #FurtherEducation

According to research from the @CentreforMH, a young person’s "place" is defined by two things: safety and agency. In a world that can feel increasingly unpredictable, "This is My Place" is a call to action for us to protect the environments where young people feel they truly belong - whether that’s a local youth club, a quiet corner of a library, or a supportive digital community. At Kooth, we believe that creating these "places" isn't a luxury; it’s a necessity. That’s why we pre-moderate every single word shared on Kooth before it goes live. We also age-gate all content using our evidence-based framework and ensure young people can access support in a space designed around both safety and agency. You can read more about how we do this here: lnkd.in/eiAkPXTe
