ALT I had forgotten how much I enjoyed reading plays until I read Adam Van Winkle’s Radio Play Novel ‘Count The Dust’. Adam takes the reader to rural America, where the petrol station is its own character, where everyday people go about their business and not much happens until it does. Going back and forth between the ‘then’ and the ‘now’, it’s a story about love, loss, resilience, survival, and hope. A story about generational trauma and humanity that will stay with you long after you put the book down.
