To create a safer communication environment, LINE partnered with Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs to launch the "Impersonation of Public Figures Warning" feature that alerts users against scammers. When an unknown account tries to add you as a friend or start a chat, if the account's displayed name is similar to a public figure based on the list provided by MODA, a warning alert will pop up to remind us to be vigilant.

On May 22, LINE Thailand teamed up with Kasikorn Bank, the Thairath Group, and the ACSC (Anti-Cyber Scam Center of the Royal Thai Police) to promote digital safety education. The “Sati Fighter: Be Aware, Prevent Fraud” campaign aims to protect people, their livelihoods, and their confidence, even as the tactics of criminal groups continue to evolve. “LINE, as a platform integrated into the daily behavoir of the Thai people, plays a crucial role in providing accurate and safe platform usage information,” said Nicharass Archyasithiwat, Chief Marketing Officer at LINE Thailand.
