Þátttakendur verkefnisins BLUES hittust í höfuðstöðvum Matís í síðustu viku. Sæbjúgu eru hér m.a. til skoðunar en þau framleiða lyfjavirk efni með margskonar virkni, t.d. gegn krabbameini og tauga hrörnunarsjúkdómum.

Í verkefninu GIANT LEAPS eru 🌿plöntu- 🍄sveppa- og 🐛skordýraprótein auk 🦠örverupróteins og 🌊próteina úr sjó skoðuð og þau borin saman við hefðbundin dýraprótein.
✅Markmiðið er m.a. að draga úr neikvæðum umhverfisáhrifum matvælakerfa nútímans!
