Is this THE Deal with Iran? Sure sounds like it. I told @seanhannity "as von Clausewitz said 'War is the continuation of politics by other means' but eventually the politics comes back into play" The military has set the needed conditions & now President Trump gets the deal he wants and can satisfy the strategic threat and our domestic politics at the same time.

These military strikes are to set conditions for a deal or no deal. But the overlooked point is: "The Jedi mind trick of 'These are not the tankers you are looking for'...if we can move oil through the Strait they've lost their last piece of leverage" Iran hit nothing w/ their launches and we hit whatever we chose to. The power balance is squarely in our favor and Iran's hope they could run out the clock seems to have run out itself. They either make a deal to give up the dust this week or I think we move on to what government follows the last remnants of the regime.

"Turkey blusters — but it folds when others recognize genocide." At a @TLHumanRights hearing on democracy and human rights in Turkey, Middle East Forum Policy Director Dr. @mrubin1971 warned that genocidal ideologies persist when the international community fails to reject them. He also called on the United States to install a plaque at Sheridan Circle, commemorating the 2017 attack on peaceful Armenian American protesters by Erdogan’s security forces on U.S. soil. Watch his urgent call for accountability.

President Trump offered Iran the best deal they could hope for. They responded by shooting down an Apache. I told @JesseBWatters we can open the Strait by force but they either negotiate in good faith or "Maybe it's time for the people of Iran to choose their own government" The VP was on Jesse's show the night before and said Israel may not like the deal that gets made. Which sounds like a signal that Lebanon may come off the table in return for a nuke deal. Nobody is going to get all they want here and while not finishing Hezbollah may be a bitter pill, getting the nuclear dust is the ultimate goal. The alternative is to start delegitimizing the regime with public statements and begin a slow roll to actual sovereignty for its people rather than tyranny by an apocalyptic theocracy. Not a US invasion but a full force of diplomatic, economic and other forces to grind the last remnants of the regime to dust. Then the conditions can be set for a better future for its people, the region and the world.

StopAntisemitism is pleased to sign onto a @meforum multi-faith led coalition letter supporting legislation introduced by Rep. Chip Roy (TX) that would designate CAIR as a terrorist organization. The bill would direct the Treasury Dept. to investigate and, if warranted, designate CAIR as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity, freezing assets, revoking tax-exempt status, and cutting off financial transactions.
