Pascagoula Football welcomes new Quarterbacks Coach Silas Corder back to Goula!
Head Coach Zach Green announced today that Corder will be joining the Panthers as the Quarterbacks Coach in this his inaugural season at Pascagoula. Corder will also be an Assistant Coach with Colmer Middle School Baseball.
Corder has trained QBs across South Mississippi in private lessons for 4 years in a variety of settings both on the field and in the film room, implementing skills learned from working with former Pascagoula QB Coach Larry Sisson, David Morris of QB Country (the nationβs premier quarterback training program), Southern Miss Head Coach Blake Anderson, Southwest Head Coach Les George and Offensive Coordinator Bo Wallace, and PRCC Offensive Coordinator Carter Hankins.
Corder was also the QB coach for the Terrell Buckley Foundation Youth Camps for 3 years and the Pascagoula Recreation Department Football Camps for 4 years.
Corder is Pascagoulaβs all-time leading passer, holding every career quarterback record in Panther team history. The 2-time All-State, All-Region, All-South and Co-offensive Region MVP was selected to play in the Bernard Blackwell North-South All-Star Game before he signed with Southern Miss and then transferred to Southwest. He is completing an education degree with an emphasis in history at South Alabama.
