I watched the first four episodes of X-Men 97 Season 2 and the show remains superb (now with even more fun nods that only comic fans will get). The show makes me remember why I love the genre, and I'll likely be watching every episode multiple times.

X-MEN ’97 Season 2 clears the insanely high bar set by Season 1.
The first 4 episodes take a massive narrative swing by scattering the team across time, but the show never loses sight of what makes the X-Men special: melodrama, social commentary, sharp dialogue, and rich character work.
Bigger in scope, gorgeous in action, and still emotionally focused.
Marvel Animation (and X-Men fans) have another winner.

I've seen the first 4 episodes of X-Men '97, and it's some of the best TV I've seen this year. It's still the smartest Marvel TV show and brilliant at telling this story for a more adult audience. It's still daring, exciting, and clever in how it explores this world. LOVE IT.

The first 4 episodes of X-Men '97 season 2 are brilliant! We get more of what worked the first time - awesome action, the Cyclops-Jean-Nathan dynamic, Magneto conversing with Charles - & they absolutely nail Apocalypse. Also, what they do with the intro in ep 2 is so damn cool!
