Horses and Bourbon 🏇🥃Two of my favorite things!
With the world primed to descend on the Commonwealth, I suggest coming for not only the horses but also our other pride and joy -- excellent Kentucky Bourbon. And like a Kentucky Derby longshot, this may be flying a bit under the radar but it's a bottle I've really been enjoying of late.
Kentucky Senator Bourbon (Release #6 John Edwards) has a proof point right in my wheelhouse at 107. Classic bourbon flavors of brown sugar, dark fruits, and cinnamon combine with a pleasant mouthfeel to make it an enjoyable pour from start to finish, and it's 7 1/2 years of age adds just the right amount of mellow oak with zero rough edges.
Now I need to try other releases in the series. I highly recommend giving Kentucky Senator bourbon a try. Cheers, my friends! @KentuckySenator @damon_thayer
