You were a huge part! Sad you never won a rookie draft.
Man, what a treasure these 30 or so minutes were for more than a decade. Great things still to come for the next version of the pod and for DJ & @BuckyBrooks, but a major salute to the entirety of the @MoveTheSticks team, past and present!

As DJ so eloquently stated, it's been a fantastic run for the MTS podcast. Partnering with a respected colleague and friend on 1K episodes has been a career milestone. While I will miss our on-air banter, discussions, and debates, I know our professional paths will cross again in the near future. To the fans and aspiring scouts who have enjoyed our work, I hope you will continue to support our individual projects at NFL Media, NFL Network, and ESPN. Although this chapter is closed, I'm excited about the future chapters that will be written down the road. ❤️🙏🏽
Quick pod update- I want to thank everyone who’s listened to Move The Sticks over the last decade. It’s been a blast to create shows with @BuckyBrooks (over 1k of them). He’s a fantastic partner & will always remain a close friend. We’ve had amazing producers & I appreciate them all so much. I’ll let you guys know when I finalize my new podcast home.

I’ve never had an issue paying players- above or under the table. It is what is. But you can’t bet on your own sport & team as a CFB player. That sets a very dangerous precedent. No other way to say it. I’m not saying he can’t have an NFL career but there has to be some meaningful punishment here.

Here’s a list of enforceable rules in college football: (Crickets)
NEWS: A judge in district court in Lubbock County, Texas, has granted the injunction requested by Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby. He’s set to be eligible for the 2026 season.

You can debate Rams starting DL vs Seahawks starting DL. You can’t debate the backups. Seahawks 2nd unit is much better. Depth has been HUGE for the last 2 SB winners.

First guy was the MVP last year. Second guy broke the sack record last year. I don't think they give out crowns for those accomplishments but quite impressive, in my opinion.
Replying to @MoveTheSticks
oh please best closer? that logic sounds like wishful thinking let's see them play a full season before crowning them shall we?

Last thought on the trade- every championship team needs a closer. You can make a case the Rams have the best closer on both sides of the ball. Down by 4- Stafford can close out the game. Up by 4-Garrett can can do the same. Elite finishers.

Understanding windows is a HUGE part of successfully running a sports franchise. Knowing when to hit the gas and when to play the long game. I thought the LAR/CLE trade was a great example of both teams correctly identifying their window.

The 2024 QB class had a fascinating offseason. 2 might lose their jobs (McCarthy & Penix) while the other 4 got some help. Williams- Roush, Z Thomas Daniels- Antonio Williams, Okonkwo Maye- AJ Brown, Doubs, Lomu, AVT Nix- Waddle NE made most upgrades on paper.
