Exciting things are afoot! After a few years working as a TA following surgery I had in 2017, things have come together this week and I’m pleased to say that after Feb half term I’ll be taking over a Year 4 class from an amazing colleague who is moving on to pastures new.

As much as we all appreciate the gifts we get at this time of year, thoughtful, heartfelt comments like this are something to treasure for ever.

I spent the morning today getting to know some of my new colleagues for September. Even more excited now and can’t wait for this new challenge!

Have just begun using @edmodo with my class and they love it! We're all still getting used to it but their enthusiasm is encouraging!

Spent a chunk of today making a giant OS map with my year 5/6 class learning about map reading and symbols

"If you write instructions for how to make a chocolate cake, I'll make it" I said on Thursday. And so they did...

First week in new job done, new year 5/6 class look like they're going to a real laugh! Really looking forward to the rest of the year
