So Ferrari released an all-electric car recently called the Ferrari Luce, and it looks like crap 😂! I mean....at least for a Ferrari. It looks fine if this was released by Hyundai or Kia, but FERRARI?

The fun thing is the internet and other companies have been ROASTING it all over the place, and it's a funny thing to watch!

Even on short notice, I managed to pull together a few very cool folks for my mastermind dinner in Austin yesterday: - Peep Laja @peeplaja — CEO @ Wynter. 3x Founder. - Nick Christensen @NickAC1 — Head of Growth @ AppSumo - Nick Gray @nickgraynews — Founder of Museum Hack and Best-Selling Author - Neville Medhora @nevmed — Founder of SwipeFile & Kopywriting I'm genuinely stoked about bringing Ahrefs Evolve to Austin in 2027, and getting to meet more of the local marketers and tech entrepreneurs along the way. Live in or around Austin and wanna join the next one? Tag yourself below — I'm keeping a list. 🙂

I've been using the Kit MCP a bunch for my email list, and it's basically like having a research person for your email list. I figure almost all your favorite services will soon have an MCP or other connector so your AI can use it. An MCP is just a connector to whatever software you use. Instead of manually sifting through my Kit analytics, I can actually use ChatGPT to ask detailed questions about new groups of people that've signed up and see their engagement. One recent query I had was seeing when a specific group of people that signed up to my newsletter last got an email. Normally I would have to spot-check random people in the group and see their open rates individually, but with the MCP I was able to do a deep dive and get the answer in 30 seconds. We're in the very beginning stages of MCP's and I'm curious to see the cool ways people use them or other connectors!

"If you launch and no one notices, launch again. We launched three times." — Brian Chesky, Founder of Airbnb I don't think there's a right and wrong way to launch a product, but you CAN re-do it many times! Brian Chesky of AirBnB apparently re-launched AirBnB 3 times before it took off. Launch 1, 2007: To pay their rent AirBnB founders put air mattresses on their floor and offered them to attendees of a design conference. 3 bookings. Launch 2, 2008: They revamped the site and launched it again at SXSW. It resulted in only one booking. Launch 3, 2008: They re-launched again when a big convention was in town and hotels were sold out. Resulted in 80 bookings!

My FAVORITE style of ad is an "Us vs Them" style ad, and this butcher uses it perfectly to showcase why it's beef is superior to Whole Foods beef in terms of quality and local source: • They show that it's slightly more expensive, but local. • In one image they show it's original compared to WF. I just love these types of images because they convey sooo much information in a small space that can be shared on any platform.

I petition @Cloudflare to make @nickgraynews their spokesman! - He knows every product inside and out. - He's personally invested in Cloudflare. - He's constantly onboarding people onto the different Cloudflare services. - He's been a mega Cloudflare fan for years.

This is a slide about “Top Five Regrets of the Dying” that a hospice nurse noticed for all her patients. ● I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. ● I wish I hadn’t worked so hard. (Every male patient) Felt they missed their children’s youth & partner’s companionship. ● I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings. ● I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends. ● I wish that I had let myself be happier. Realized happiness was a choice. The cool part is you can take this advice far before you die and implement these things in your life!

"The Most Interesting Man In The World" Dos Equis spokesman character was invented in 2006, and 20 years later that iconic guy is still being used! I saw this giant mural on the side of a building where I walk.

Some other famous logos that's been going strong for years include: ● The GEICO Gecko ● Mr. Clean ● The Michelin Man ● Flo ● The Energizer Bunny ● The M&M's Spokescandies Cool that a company can utilize a single brand for so long!

I love when an internet meme gets popular and takes off, and this one was kinda funny. Spotify re-designed their logo to this.....and the internet roasted them because they just took their existing logo and added a disco ball.

Almost immediately all these brands band-wagoned onto making their logos disco ball-ified 🤣 The internet is funny :)

In an age of AI where content is being produced at a massive rate by ai, one thing is still super important: "Possession of the customer is still really really valuable." — Ben Horowitz I see this allll the time where people are pumping out products with AI at a rapid pace, but rarely getting customers because that's the hardest part. This is why a lot of existing companies with existing customers are grabbing much of the upside of AI, because they ALREADY have the customer, and they can just add on ai-built products to their existing base.

For founders that start a $1 billion valuation company (a "unicorn") this shows that 70% of founders have some sort of technical degree, and 30% have a more liberal arts degree. This makes sense as generally most of the billion dollar companies being formed nowadays have a strong engineering component.

My #1 reason for disengaging FSD is I want to go a slightly different route but there’s no good way to do it. -Dropping a pin adds it as a stop. -Grok will sort of do it but add a stop. FSD disengagements are always navigational at this point. @aelluswamy @elonmusk @Tesla

Two reasons I disengage from Tesla FSD (HW4): 1.) I want FSD to take a diff route than suggested. Potential easy solution in the video: Just let me "draw" the route I wanna take. 2.) The full-stop at stop signs. I tap the accelerator when using FSD to do a rolling stop which is way more natural. The NHTSA made Tesla do the full-stop thing in 2022 and it's just annoying, especially when driving through a neighborhood with tons of stop signs. Those seem to be last remaining reasons why I disengage FSD (other than to just drive myself for fun)! @Tesla - @elonmusk - @aelluswamy
