So just what is @NaturalEngland now? As former HLS & HT stewardship thrown out at last renewal with zero explanation, told I'm not allowed to contact NE, it seems to me if you are not in a protected landscape & don't have a SSSI you are not interested.

Fabulous as this is, how is it that Barnsley schools are having to cancel school trips whilst Barnsley Council has a fleet of minibuses parked up waiting for the end of the school day. Surely it's possible to make them available, even if it's only for trips within the borough?

I have just been told by my local MP that around half of farms in the UK are 20ha or below. I can believe this if we are talking land holdings, but farms?
