Pupils were given an intro into the world of financial law, had a tour of the amazing office building and attended a careers carousel, meeting with lots of CC employees to learn more about the roles and responsibilities, as well as their route into working at Clifford Chance.

Yr 10 pupils were invited by Trinity alumni Dilara Erden to visit the HQ of Clifford Chance, a global law firm based in Canary Wharf to attend a Raising Aspirations Day.

Skye realised her best option would be a degree apprenticeship to which she applied to 25 providers - receiving 2 offers. Skye reminded us of the importance of not giving up on yourself, to keep the belief in what you can achieve if you put your mind to it and to work hard at it!

Skye Jenkins came to speak to Year 8 pupils about her route into a degree apprenticeship in Accountancy. Skye spoke about waking up to the reality of not trying hard enough at school and facing this honestly & bravely - making a great comeback through dedicated revision in Yr 11.

Maria talked about modern routes into nursing, about the hard work day to day and the emotional rewards of helping others in an A E setting. Maria also talked about the need for us to support our peers rather than comparing ourselves against them to frame personal growth.

Yr 7-9 pupils had a wonderful day in Ypres, exploring the Menin Gate Memorial,the Cloth Hall and Bell-Tower, St. George’s Church and St Martin’s Cathedral.This brought history to life and gave everyone a deeper understanding of the sacrifices and stories behind these landmarks.

Savannah spoke about having a personal vision of where you are heading, that the journey will not always be straight forward,but that without vision you can end up getting stuck.Savannah encouraged pupils to seek help and speak up,because as she put it “closed mouths don’t feed”.
