A great couple of days hosting the 2nd annual Ontario SID Conference and sports information colleagues from across @OUAsport! While schools compete on the field, sports info staff share a common goal of telling student-athlete stories and elevating university sport, united by the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of the job. The gathering provided a chance to share ideas and discuss key topics like social media strategy, content planning, AI tools, workflow efficiency, stats management, and work-life balance. 📸 Hailey Tripodi

Throughout June, the #OUA recognizes National Indigenous History Month, a time to honour the histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. This is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and deepen our understanding of Indigenous Peoples and their enduring impact on communities across Canada, while also serving as an important reminder of our collective responsibility to advance meaningful reconciliation through education, awareness, and action. The OUA remains committed to fostering inclusive and respectful environments where Indigenous student-athletes, coaches, staff, officials, and community members feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. We encourage everyone to engage with Indigenous perspectives, celebrate Indigenous excellence, and continue learning about the rich histories and cultures that have shaped our country. #NIHM2026 📸 Lazar Mihajlovic
