Creators — if you’ve had a strong year, think about giving before 2026. New charitable deduction limits are coming, which could mean fewer tax breaks. ✅ Donor-advised funds = give now, donate later ✅ Over the age 70½? Use a QCD from your IRA Give smart. Impact more. 💡

Recapping my thoughts from FinCon: I'm bullish on the creator economy, concerned about the future of search, and I think "creatorship" is the answer: robertfarrington.com/why-hum…

Just wrapped up my very first @FinCon in Portland, Oregon! Even as an extreme extrovert, it was a lot (in the best way possible!). There’s nothing like being surrounded by hundreds of people who care as much as you do about making money conversations real, judgment-free, and accessible. The energy was nonstop with ideas flying, stories being shared, and connections being made everywhere you turned. For me, the highlight was simple: connection. Honest conversations, big ideas, and the reminder that while we each approach money from different angles, we’re all working toward the same goal of helping people build lives they love. I’m energized, inspired, and already looking forward to next year. #FinCon #FinancialEducation #WomenAndMoney #FinancialEmpowerment

The car loan interest deduction details from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Up to 1Ok in car loan interest is deductible "above the line", aka no need to itemize deductions to get it. Had to be purchased new in 2025 and has to be an American-made vehicle.

Congress just passed the biggest small business tax overhaul in years. Permanent deductions. Retroactive benefits. It’s now on the President’s desk. Here’s what just changed and how smart operators should respond. Reach out to the @smblawgroup team with any questions.
