I would often ask Top 100 travelers what the most overrated golf course on the list was. For years, Medinah no 3 was a very popular answer. I don't think we we will hear that much anymore.

I am off to a good start on this week's photo shoot at Siwanoy Country Club. The site of the very first PGA Championship in 1916. It was a 36 hole match play event.

Question for all of the people counting “golf courses played lifetime”
How many courses do you consider a 27 hole facility?
I only count 27 hole golf clubs as one course played.
I have a buddy that counts 27 holes as 3 courses played. I have told him that this is wrong and he needs to check himself before he wrecks himself. Please help me confirm.

I count 27 holes as 1 course. I count 9 hole courses as 1 course as well. Comes out pretty even. use of a 1/2 course is probably the most accurate way to do it.
