My 17yo son is playing Valorant on the N. America server: Kids realize before the game that they're all Jewish or Muslim. I love hearing their excitement to find each other. It spreads fast and every waiting room I overhear Jews and Muslims glad to have each other on Christmas.

My mom sent her itinerary today : “11/23 Melbourne, site of recent mass flooding. 11/29 Brisbane where riverside docks washed away. 12/02 Port Douglas via Cairns where there is a jellyfish infestation. 12/05 Sydney where a Carnival cruise line just unloaded 800 Covid cases.”

I looked up and and saw the window washer and felt like I was living between the pages of Curious George Gets a Job. Then I remembered the building out an email: “Feel free to tag us in pictures today!!!” Even window washing is a complicated job in the age of social media.

Is it autistic that I can’t stop listening to SCOTUS live? I have to stop myself from wanting to get a law degree. Maybe instead of a law degree I could have a SCOTUS podcast. The only way I learn anything for real is pontificating about it.

Gorsuch just made SCOTUS relevant again. His questioning shows how Calif. is leading on animal rights the same way individual states took a leadership position to ban slavery 100 years ago.
