Our team had a productive discussion with @ThomasCArthur, Scotland's Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport on embedding personalised music playlists in dementia care.
He echoed our ethos that music should not be a 'nice to have', but an essential tool for anyone caring for someone with dementia so that their care is delivered with dignity and a truly person-centred approach.
We look forward to continuing working with @scotgov to embed music in care as standard to improve the lives and wellbeing of everyone affected by dementia.
💚 In 2025, together with our supporters, community partners and trained professionals, we made great strides in our mission to ensure everyone living with dementia has access to a personal playlist 🎵
