Maltsters & brewers - here is the artwork you need. Barley at night in a field in the North Yorks Moors - a lino reduction print by my ultra talented sister @HelenPeyton from when she was artist in residence for the national park's Dark Skies Reserve celebration.
Paul Nash is an abiding influence in my life and we grew up in the same area 60 years apart. Wood on the Downs - beech tree on the Chiltern Hills is a favourite. His obsession was with the spirit of places - something which inspires much of my own work.
There’s just one print left - the last of an edition of 50 - of Storm and Sunlight, Ullswater. It’s on the wall at @mashamgallery. Really loved making this - trying to capture the feelings Wordsworth must have had saying goodbye to his brother at this place for the last time.
Just a few of the amazing prints made by my ten students at @DalesMuseum monotype workshop yesterday. We took the Cry of the Curlew exhibition & the dales landscape as our inspiration. I’m so pleased & proud of them all! #curlew#cryofthecurlew#printmaking@CurlewAction
