Even though the Moon is constantly orbiting Earth, we always see the same side. This happens because the Moon’s rotation period matches its orbit around our planet - a phenomenon called tidal locking. The side we never see from Earth is called the far side of the Moon 🌕

It’s World Honey Bee Day! 🐝✨ Honey bees nest in cavities where the only light comes from the hive entrance. Too much artificial light at night can keep that entrance lit 24/7, disrupting their natural day/night cycle. Let’s keep our skies (and nights) dark for the bees.
