@AmericanLegion Post 282 in Bloomfield, NY! 🇺🇸
Thanks to previous Post Commander Anthony Gaiter &
@Brparadox, the event was a huge success and some gamers traveled across the country to attend.
Many players stated that this was their first time ever entering an American Legion Post. This demonstrates the potential for gaming programs to serve as an effective outreach tool, bringing new people through the doors while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Gaming isn’t the end all answer to save and modernize our nations Veteran Service Organizations, but it’s a step in the right direction, and we’re continually proving that it works.
