This account pivots around Islam—the Qur'ān, the Sunnah and Reminders; Books; Software Development and Engineering; Poetry; and, particularly, Romance. Every other addition to these is most likely a human inclination. A very temporary inclination, because it'll wane.

I disagree. Completely. And I'm pretty sure I'm only able to say this because he meant to keep it concise and blunt—and that is very obvious in his last line which expects the pushback. I think every woman should have the knowledge, skills, or capacity to sustain herself if necessity arises. Don't be useless, literally. But Islamically, earning an income (as a woman) is NOT IN ANY WAY a prerequisite for marriage. Life is more varied than that. Income is only one form of preparedness. Character, religious commitment, emotional maturity, financial literacy, conflict resolution skills, and choosing a suitable spouse often determine the quality of a marriage far more than whether either party was earning a salary before the nikah. May Allah make us better and grant us spouses who will be the coolness of our eyes.
I am just gonna be blunt about it: NO woman should be thinking of getting married without an income source. Anyone is free to disagree, though.

the funny thing is that almost everybody thinks they're the exception. the one with the uniquely terrible life. meanwhile, if lives were laid bare and people were asked to exchange theirs for another at random, many would run back to the very life they were complaining about. comparison is truly the thief of joy. there is always someone with more wealth, more beauty, more influence, more opportunities. but there is also always someone carrying burdens you would not survive, trials you would beg Allah not to test you with. yours is not the best life, so you want more. yours is not the worst life either, so be grateful. and for the muslim especially and particularly, hope is not a coping mechanism. hope, for us, as muslims, is ibādah (worship). it is from husnu-dh-dhann billah. it is part of what keeps the heart attached to Allah and strengthens one's aqeedah. the muslim thanks Allah in hardship not because suffering itself is enjoyable, but because he knows his Lord is Wise, Merciful, and does not waste the reward of patience. he knows that today's difficulty is not the entirety of the story. you will see a person saying “alhamdulillah” through hardship and think they've been fooled by religion. however, the truth is they have understood that life was never promised to be free of trials. what we are promised is that our hardships (accompanied with our strife to be free from them) are meaningful. what we are promised is that our patience through these hard moments will be rewarded. what we are promised is that death upon this faith and belief grants us the win in the end. so keep your head up, my friend. you win or you win.
god fit don punish you with suffer life make you dey thank am every day for the gift of life thinking say one day e go better😂

one thing about me is that i'll run away from you. i'll run away from you if you stress me, i'll run away from you if you make my life hard and i'll run away from you if you intentionally remain oblivious and selfishly petulant.

The frightening thing is not that I would die for you. Men have died for far less. The frightening thing is how easily I would rearrange my entire life and still call it a privilege—because it is for you. You, my dear, have become the simple assumption behind all my future plans. The way people assume there will be air tomorrow, I assume there will be you—to share my high ambitions with, and to tell the tales of my travails...because they really only seem incomplete until I know you've heard them and that they've passed through your hands.
how do you tell someone you love them without saying “i love you”

You need to know the mind of life you want, and you must relentlessly pursue it—because it'll come to you, even if in bits.

one of my greatest fears is people saying "I lived a good life" when the case is different in the sight of Allāh.

Quite unappealing to think this applied to only me.

0:32-0:35—it is split-second decisions like this that makes me respect experienced professionals, their speed of thought and decision-making. Him, specifically, he's that good, because any other decision there would have foiled that attack and the speed of it. Any other at all.
It's illegal to make more than two touches, it still reminds me of how everyone thought Argentina was only there to defend

This is how I like football to be. This is what I think football actually is. The thrill, the reading, the unpredictability, the math...it's what I like to watch him for.

I will never tweet this. There will never be evidence that I admitted or said this. That is what a true Ronaldo fan does!
