On day 4 of the #RHNKPanAfricanConference2026, Gloria Micheni, our Partner Learning Officer presented an abstract under Sub theme 1 on Innovations to Address and Eliminate the Triple Threat. In her presentation, Gloria shared how the Adolescent Girls Agency Survey (AGAS) can be used for evaluation, learning, and SRHR integration across adolescent education and livelihood programs - while drawing from how our partners have used the AGAS for program measurement. #AMPLIFYHer @rhnkorg

We are proud to contribute to a more period-friendly world by breaking barriers that keep girls from accessing education. Menstrual stigma should never stand between a girl and her right to learn, thrive and achieve her dreams. Through initiatives like the changing room at Kavumba Primary School, we are creating safe and supportive spaces where girls can manage their menstrual health with dignity and confidence. Together, we are challenging stigma, promoting inclusion and ensuring that girls stay in school every day of the term. #TheRightToBeAGirl
Nothing inspires us more than seeing girls take ownership of spaces created for them. We were happy to have a few members of our #GirlsMatterClub at Kavumba Primary School join us during the handover ceremony of the changing room. Their presence was a powerful reminder of why this work matters. This space belongs to them and will support their health, dignity, confidence and ability to stay in school every day. We are excited to see the positive impact it will have on their educational journey and future aspirations. #TheRightToBeAGirl

As we await #DayOfTheAfricanChild2026, we reflect on this year's theme: Universal Access to WASH for Every Child. Despite Lake Victoria, clean water remains scarce for many of our children. Let's renew our commitment to ensuring every child's right to safe water & sanitation. 💧

Despite universal rights, disabled individuals, mostly women, face significant barriers that require targeted advocacy & accessible healthcare. Inclusivity ensures equal access to #SRHR education, & autonomy without any discrimination. #Inclusivity4Diversity @KCCAUG

UGANET in the Field 📍Jinja District This week, the UGANET team engaged communities in Busedde Sub-county, Jinja District, as part of ongoing efforts to promote access to justice and human rights awareness. The team visited Busedde Health Centre III and later held a community sensitization session where the Jinja District Probation Officer explained the role of the Probation Office in safeguarding the welfare, protection, and safety of children. Community members actively participated in the dialogue, raising several concerns affecting families. Among them was a request by some women for advocacy around equality in customary marriage practices, particularly regarding provisions on multiple spouses. #UGANET4SocialJustice
