A friend of mine recently launched @arenaofkings on steam! store.steampowered.com/app/1…
It's a top down 3v3 arena game that's well paced and fun to play. The creator has a competitive background in arena games and I'm a dev on the project, something really cool has been built here
I will never understand game developer's obsession with competitive flex queues. Does it really increase the casual player base so much that it is worth essentially destroying the functionality of the ranked system?
This is why I give so much credit to competitive overwatch players. The game is one of the most mentally draining esports to exist in the team based genre.
i think one thing that people don't talk about when it comes to burnout in regards to overwatch is how little downtime there is in the game compared to other popular esports. In mobas you have long death timers/farming phases where not much happens 1/?
