Latest @businessposthq poll out this morning, taken in the final days of the Presidential election campaign, sees parties in the left alliance that supported Connolly make gains, with SF up 2 and Soc Dems reaching record high of 9%, while FF downward trend in support continues.
Tighter poll than it looks, as Humphreys polls much better among older voters who are more likely to turn out to vote, while Connolly does much better among younger voters, who are less likely to turn out.
Polling for Presidential election for @businessposthq sees Humphries lead the field, with Mary Lou McDonald polling strongly suggesting she would have been in the hunt had she run. Gavin sits in 3rd, once Kelleher votes redistributed, and Connelly in 4th. Others some way behind.
Latest @businessposthq party polling sees little change over the summer. Sinn Fein leads while Fianna Fáil continues gradual downward trend over the last few months.
