Congratulations to Hall of Fame Member, Championship Winner and true club legend, Ted Smith, who has today been recognised as part of the King's Birthday Honours. A member of Australia's squad at the 1956 Olympic Games, Ted's contribution to football extends far beyond South Melbourne. A thoroughly deserved honour for one of Victorian football's true greats.

We were incredibly proud to see our very own Fatima Yousufi represent and captain Afghanistan in a series of international friendly matches during the week. A valued member of our Senior Women's squad, Fatima continues to make an impact both on and off the pitch. Not only does she proudly represent her nation at the highest level, but she has also become a respected voice and leader for the Afghan community, advocating for her people and inspiring others through her actions.
