.latino is now available on Spaceship🚀 Today also marks the first day of .latino in General Availability, and we thought to gather a few facts about the TLD, its registry positioning, and a broader context. 1️⃣ .latino is open for registration worldwide. It is not restricted to people or businesses from Latin America, Latino communities, or any specific country. 2️⃣ The registry positions .latino as a domain for Latino identity, culture, business, media, creators, and community. 3️⃣ "Latino" can connect several demographic contexts at once: Latin America itself, Hispanic and Latino communities across the U.S., and the broader diaspora. 4️⃣ .latino is a generic top-level domain, not a country-code TLD, which means from a search perspective, it is less of a country marker and more of a cultural, identity-based, and audience-based signal. .latino domains are available on Spaceship for $15.53. If you’ve got an idea that fits the .latino space, register it here: goto.space/43AAbge

We heard you’d like to see more SellerHub insights, so let’s start 🙂 Here are a few observations from last week’s sales data, covering May 28 – June 4. 💡 Sales sources Together, Spaceship and Namecheap searches brought 74% of all sales. The rest of the sales were split almost evenly across Checkout Links: 9%, For Sale Pages: 8%, and SafePay: 8%. 💡 Top TLDs among domains sold .com was unsurprisingly the #1 TLD by number of sales. .si (#2) outperformed .ai (#3) by number of sales, but .ai had a stronger impact by value: .ai contributed around 10% of the total value of domains sold, while .si brought around 4%. .io and .live closed the top 5 by sales count, with .co, .xyz, .email, .me, and .org following. 💡 Top sales by price Looking at the top sales by price, .com took the leading position, with the highest sale of the week at $165,000. The top 10 sales included: 5 .com 2 .xyz 1 .ai 1 .dev 1 .one Spaceship Search was the source for 8 of the top 10 sales, while SafePay and Checkout Links brought 1 sale each. Final observation: this week, we saw a strong uplift in the total number of domains sold, and in the reports you’re sharing with us here. Keep them coming – we’re ready to support🚀

WordPress is best known as a blogging tool. But tools available within the system already support a lot more than that – membership platforms, courses, app development. We've gathered some examples of what WordPress projects look like today 👇 💳 Subscription & membership businesses Plugins like MemberPress and Ultimate Member handle the infrastructure of a subscription business: recurring billing, tiered access, gated content, and trials. No custom payment system needed, no monthly platform fees, unlike dedicated membership platforms that charge both creators and their users. 📱 App-like mobile experiences Using responsive block themes and clean navigation makes sites more mobile-friendly. Plugins like MobiLoud take it a step further – converting an existing WordPress site into a full iOS or Android app. 🎓 Courses, workshops & learning platforms Learning Management System plugins like LearnDash support structured courses, quizzes, and certifications hosted on a custom domain. Combined with calendar integrations and video platforms, they can power cohort-based workshops all on their own domain without relying on third-party platforms. None of this requires learning a new stack. It's more about pairing existing WordPress knowledge with the right toolkit available. The same platform, just used differently, which means more time spent building, less time spent learning from scratch. More tools and ideas to innovate your users' experience in our full blog: goto.space/3PO86i3 And if you've never tried WordPress, why not try it for free as well? You've seen a few SellerHub updates from us recently. Now let's zoom out a little and look at what else has been moving across Spaceship: 🔹 Alf, our AI Assistant, is now available for non-logged-in users, preserves chat history when users log in, and supports file uploads for more convenient conversations. 🔹 Alf Website Builder now lets users create full multiple-page websites, add a Contact Us section, and have more options to edit and customize their websites. 🔹 Spacemail mobile app got several useful updates: save emails to drafts, switch between light, dark, and system modes, mark emails as favorites, choose between more bulk actions and expanded signature functionalities. 🔹 Across the website, we've added more management, sorting, filtering, and guiding options, plus smaller improvements here and there to make everyday flows even smoother. 🔹 The chat widget is now more flexible too: you can move it around the page and dismiss it when you don't need it. What's next: 🔹 We'll soon add auto backup for virtual machines, language selection for the Spacemail mobile app, and more coming to Alf Website Builder, including Google Analytics and SEO options, and expanded e-commerce functionality. 🔹 And SellerHub is not slowing down either, with more experiments and iterations based on the feedback we hear. Much, much more is on the way🚀 Thank you for shaping Spaceship with us💙

And as promised, SellerHub Update: Seller Portfolio🚀 You can now create a public page for your domain portfolio and share it with buyers. Buyers can browse your listed domains, sort, filter by TLD or price, add domains to cart, or make an offer. Fingers crossed, the last two happen a lot :) Set it up from the new Seller Portfolio option in SellerHub settings: turn it on, choose your page slug, add your nickname, and write a short portfolio description: spaceship.com/application/se… This is the first version. Next, we'll add the option to link to your Portfolio Page from your For Sale Pages. And keep the feedback coming. Our team is listening closely to what you'd like to see next. Hope this brings more visibility to your domains and helps more buyers find the right names. And yes, we're looking forward to more sales reports from you😉

New in SellerHub: Sources You can now see the source of each new lead or sold domain in the SellerHub Leads and Sold tabs. That means more data on how each lead or buyer reached you, which commission applied, and how each selling path is performing. Sources include Domain Search, For Sale Pages, Checkout Links, Add to Cart links, and SafePay. Hope this brings more useful insights your way. Next up: portfolio pages🚀

We built SafePay to make domain transactions safer, faster, and easier to complete – even when the deal starts outside SellerHub. Here’s how it works in 5 quick steps: 1. Choose your role: buyer or seller, enter the domain name and price. 2. Select the payment method, how the commission should be split, and add buyer/seller email details. Buyer can also select the payment method. Buyer email is optional, while seller email is required. 3. Review the details and create the transaction. The transaction offer will then be sent to the other party for review and approval. 4. Once the offer is accepted, the buyer completes the purchase through the secure link. The funds are safely held in SafePay until the domain transfer is complete. 5. Our team assists with the domain transfer from seller to buyer, and once everything is complete, the seller receives the payout – all with some of the fastest transfer and payout times in the industry🚀 So next time you need to close a domain deal quickly, securely, and with one of the best commissions around, you know where to go😉 spaceship.com/sellerhub/safe…

To protect IP reputation, many Virtual Machine providers restrict email setup by keeping port 25 closed. For users, that often means extra tools and extra setup just to send email from a project running on a VM. So, we’ve built Mail Bridge, the latest addition to Starlight™ Cloud, to simplify the process. It safely opens email delivery channels, so users can send app-generated emails, like system alerts or notifications, directly from Starlight™ VMs. And with a verified IP address and reverse DNS record, Mail Bridge helps mail servers recognize emails as legitimate. That’s it. Mail Bridge is now available to all Starlight™ Virtual Machine users with a 7-day free trial. Here's the link to try it and learn more: goto.space/4utZOur

BIN, hand reg, outbound, HT, flip... We know many of you speak this language fluently. But for those just getting into domaining, it can feel like a different world. So we’ve pulled together some of the most common terms to make conversations easier to follow (and join). BIN Buy It Now. A fixed price a buyer can purchase at immediately. Inbound When the buyer comes to the seller through a lander, marketplace, or search path. Outbound When the seller proactively reaches out to potential buyers to pitch a domain. Flip Buying a domain with the aim of reselling it relatively quickly for a profit. Hand reg Registering an available domain directly, not buying from a prior owner. Drop reg Registering a domain the moment it drops and becomes available again. Aged domain A domain with an older creation date or prior history. Floor price The rough lowest price the market is likely to pay for a type of domain. Liquid A domain with strong investor demand and relatively easy resale, often in established short-name categories. Lander A for-sale landing page for a domain, usually with inquiry, offer, or BIN options. Lead A prospective buyer. Counteroffer The seller’s response after receiving an offer. Comps Comparable sales used to help price a domain. Installments Paying for a domain over time instead of all at once. LTO Lease-to-own. A common installment model where the buyer pays monthly toward ownership over a set term. Carrying cost The ongoing cost of holding domains, such as renewal fees. HT Hold time. How long a domain was held before it sold. EMD Exact Match Domain. A domain that exactly matches a search phrase or keyword term. Trend reg Registering a domain based on a trend, often with a short window of opportunity. ▫️Patterns and shorthand LLL / LLLL / 3L / 4L / 5L Letter-count shorthand for short domains. CVCV / CVVC / VCVC Pattern shorthand where C = consonant and V = vowel, used for describing short domains. NNN / NNNN Number-only pattern shorthand. NNL / LNL Letter-number pattern shorthand. x, xx, xxx, x,xxx, xx,xxx Pricing shorthand for ranges, like low xx or mid xxx. We kept it to the terms that show up most often in everyday conversations. If you've been in domaining for a while, what would you add for someone just getting started?
