I don't judge the success of my comics based on the money (though I've made more than most). The only viable metric is audience satisfaction and I'm doing well by that standard. I'm not running a Youtube-Twitter-outrage business. I make comic stories... 320 pages a year.

I gotta do about 3 months of hard-core work on BFB 2 to make it ready for prime time. I'm still in la-la mode but catch me in the last two weeks of any graphic novel and I'll be chewing my own arm off.
Well @DougTenNapel the mail lady texted out the box durability, when I got it there was a nice dent on the back. But the books where unharmed. Thank you for the great book, I’m ready for BFB#2 now.

But I think there is a real X factor to printing and international shipping where about 5% are flat out going to get a delayed book unless I create an artificially late date... and I don't want to make that cheese.

I don't think shipping these books "on time" counts when it's the last day of the month, but we took it as some kind of win to wrap it all up by December. It should have gone faster, and we're all learning how to do it better next time.
