This afternoon, Party Leader Dr. @DrOburu_O was among hundreds of mourners who attended the requiem mass in honour of the late Prof. Shem Oyoo Wandiga held at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nairobi. Prof. Wandiga, a renowned Kenyan academic, environmental chemist, and climate scientist, dedicated his career to higher education, institutional building, and scientific research. He at one time served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi and later in the years also served as the Chancellor of Everton University- Njoro. May his soul Rest in Peace.

JUST IN: Blow to Sen. Edwin Sifuna as the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal dismisses his application filed under certificate of urgency, seeking leave to cross-examine ODM's affiant. The Tribunal is currently hearing the main application in which he seeks to stop the Party’s Internal Dispute Resolution Mechanism (IDRM) from hearing and determining the dispute arising from his suspension by the NEC.

Party Leader @DrOburu_O accompanied by his younger sister Hon. Ruth Odinga this afternoon paid a visit to Makadara MP @h_aladwa at the Nairobi Hospital where he is on treatment after being taken ill two weeks ago. Dr. Oburu wished Hon. Aladwa a speedy recovery. Get well Soon Your Worship.

The Central Committee this afternoon held a meeting to deliberate on a number of issues concerning the party and the nation at large. The meeting was chaired by Party Leader @DrOburu_O

SG Hon. Catherine Omanyo yesterday visited the Kenyatta National Hospital to check on the recovery progress of the learners who survived the Utumishi Girls Academy fire tragedy admitted at the facility. During the visit, the Doctors reported that 7 students had been treated and discharged while others were still being monitored and would be discharged in a couple of days.

Had a strategic briefing with our Party Leader Hon. Dr. Oburu Oginga and the National Assembly Minority Leader Hon. Junet Mohamed. We reviewed party's current progress and aligned our grassroots mobilization efforts with our key parliamentary priorities. Our focus remains on advancing policies that benefit our members and the country at large.

Tuko Tayari… Our Executive Director @ongwen is back on his feet and is as fit as a fiddle. As the staff of Chungwa House paid him a visit at his residence in Kitengela, Mr. Ong’wen who in late April this year underwent a successful procedure on his brain, was in high spirits as he shared his experience. He is expected to resume work in a couple of weeks. We thank God for His grace and mercy.
