New game thread. The old one is really long and it breaks apart when you scroll through it. I appreciate that y'all enjoy it so I'm gonna try to get back to doing it regularly.

This generation still doesn’t have a big new IP like we got with something like Splatoon. They’re playing it really safe by revitalizing old IPs which is really great but if there’s going to be so many remakes I think it’s less so.

Hades II Sooooo good. Love both of these games. Things like Hades and One piece got me more into mythology in general, started reading some cool books because of stuff like this. Once again I need to write these on time so I remember what I even wanted to say.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Lowkey didn't like this game much at all lol. The entire thing being in the city just really didn't do anything for me. Arceus just had amazing atmosphere/vibes that Z-A just doesn't. I really hate that I don't like this game but I really don't.

I don’t think footstool out of shield is nearly as strong of a strategy as people think. There are footstool setups with insane insurance behind them, which are pretty much the exception. People often associate footstool out of shield as fixes to characters that lack options.

If you’re playing a character that struggles out of shield, focus on the exact opposite of locking yourself in shield to look for your opponent to make multiple mistakes. It’s not the answer the community suggests it is.

It is important to be open minded and you should be able to execute when an opportunity presents itself. But footstool out of shield is not going to save you. I’d hope you would beat someone playing that poorly into your space anyway.
