Bundle up this weekend if you attend any recruitment events. We don't want you to spend the first week of classes "rushing" to student health with a cold.
On a serious note, while we could see some snow this weekend, we will absolutely feel these cold temperatures. Please stay warm.

We want to thank UVA Facilities Management (@UVAFM) for being dedicated to shoveling, plowing, and treating the roads and sidewalks around Grounds today. They are working around the clock to keep areas clear for students, faculty, and staff. You are such a vital asset to UVA.
UPDATE: With classes moving online the schedule is modified:
**Clemons Library will be open from noon to 8 today, Jan. 6, for anyone who needs a place to study or just get in out of the cold.**
All other libraries will be closed.

Today at 1:55 p.m. the UVA Chapel bells will toll to honor the lives of Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr., and D'Sean Perry. The bells will ring the first verse of "Amazing Grace," followed by three chimes to remember each of these student-athletes.
As we mark two years since their passing, we invite everyone in the UVA community to pause, reflect, and remember Chandler, Davis, and Perry. Together, let us honor their memory and stand in unity and support for all who have been touched by their lives. #UVAStrong
