If a government cannot protect the most basic right of bodily autonomy for its people, then that government is clearly a failed design. Extremists exploited every weakness in that design over decades, in order to control women, and they are victorious today.
Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.

Why even be in Congress if you don’t believe in doing your job? Just quit and let someone who actually gives a damn do it instead of acting like a useless piece of furniture when babies are shot with AR15s that we let teen boys impulse buy before they can legally have a beer.
You cannot legislate away evil.

This decision—pushed by a far-right partisan legal group desperate to prevent votes that could end Trump’s presidency—should be overturned. But whether or not it is, it’s on us to organize the Dems that the GOP is trying to suppress, and make their plan backfire.
