Most Indian companies still import these motors from China. Why? Low trust in Indian products. This imported > indigenous mindset is antithetical to technological development, economic growth, and India's future prosperity, yet it's pervasive across industries. The belief that "if it's Indian, it must not be good" still lingers in many corners of the subcontinent, despite numerous hardware and manufacturing companies proving that this thinking is misguided and incorrect. I'm thrilled to see companies like Vector Technics putting in years of hard work and risking it all to reverse this mindset and prove to India (and the world) that Indian hardware is synonymous with quality and reliability. India needs hundreds more companies like Vector, building machines, materials, and components indigenously. But it also needs buyers to break out of this imported-first, local-second mindset. Build from India for the world, but also... Buy from India, lead the world.

We all know how drones are growing exponentially as a part of both the civilian and defence landscapes. So, this company may well be a critical, and possibly indispensable, element in the countryโ€™s drive for a self-reliant supply chain. Their story also signals how Indian startups are showing technical prowess that is world-beating, and how they have the speed, agility and passion needed to put innovation at the core of our economic trajectory. Global markets havenโ€™t factored in this quiet revolution taking place in India. But Itโ€™s crazy that Vector is doing just 5k a month. Their demand should explode and I suspect they wonโ€™t find any shortage of investors and capital to fund their growthโ€ฆ!

Here is the 3115 SL 900 KV test data from our Q1 catalogue. The useful part is not the headline number alone. It is the way the motor behaves across the throttle range, under the tested propeller and ESC combinations, with measured RPM, thrust, current, and temperature data. At maximum test condition, the 3115 SL reaches 12,900 RPM and the test setup shows 2.5 kg-class thrust. That is the kind of response you need to evaluate for compact strike platforms.
