I'm Bob Davis, and I'm running for Colorado House District 44 in the Republican Primary. I was recently interviewed by Eric Bolling on @RealAmVoice about my campaign. We eventually chose to put down roots in Parker to be near our first grandchild. We came to Colorado for freedom, opportunity, and the values that still made the American West strong. But after watching our state move further down the same path as California, I decided sitting on the sidelines was no longer an option. When my own representative, Anthony Hartsook, sponsored gun control and supported legislation that expanded government, I knew it was time to step up and run. House District 44 includes Parker and eastern Douglas County. Any Republican or unaffiliated voter can mark their Republican primary ballot for me. This isn’t really about Kyle Clark. It’s about a pattern I’ve seen far too often among some journalists, radio hosts, political commentators, and social media influencers. A narrative gets repeated before the homework gets done. I knew during the interview that some of the claims being made weren’t accurate. I chose not to stop the conversation and turn it into a debate because there is a time and place for that. Sometimes it’s better to let the facts speak for themselves later. I’ve seen this before. I saw it with Candace Owens. I see it across media every day. Assumptions get treated as facts, and narratives get pushed before the evidence is fully examined. The good news is that facts are stubborn things. I believe journalists should challenge candidates. They should ask tough questions. But those questions should be rooted in complete and accurate information. I look forward to the day when Kyle and others approaches every story with the same level of curiosity, skepticism, and professionalism, regardless of who is sitting across from them.
