Today at the Three Seas Summit in Croatia, Westinghouse joined U.S. and Slovak leaders in signing a Statement of Intent to cooperate on a Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) study for construction of a new nuclear power source in Jaslovské Bohunice, Slovakia. We are excited to take part in the FEED study, which will analyze the deployment of an AP1000® reactor in Slovakia and the positive benefits of adding 1,200 MW of nuclear energy to the country’s electric grid.
