Today “Rainbow Action Tamaki” sent me a letter threatening legal action against my previous post calling them a self-important, egotistical, bunch of rent-a-crowd protesters when they protested about NZFirst’s definition of a woman bill last Sunday. They want me to delete my post, apologise, and donate money to their ‘charity’. My post is now passing 1.7million views on Facebook. So no. I won’t be deleting it with all the positive responses it is receiving from kiwis with common sense who are backing our stance. We also won’t be donating any money to their cause mainly due to not knowing which kind of flag it will be spent purchasing seeing as they can’t make their mind up what protest they are at. And as for me saying I’m sorry: I am sorry. I am sorry that you have proven us right. Your egos know no bounds. I called you a bunch of egotistical mouth-breathers who think the universe revolves around you – and this threat of legal action, thinking that you are the most important thing in this whole conversation, is precisely why ordinary kiwis have had a gutsful of you and your rent-a-crowd. If you want to take me to court, go ahead, we will ensure we use discovery to read all the emails and communications you had with the Green Party and whomever else you coordinate with and find out who is really behind all of this. And for the last time, this isn’t about you. We couldn’t give a rat’s derriere about what you do in your private lives, what colour you want to dye your hair, or whether you want to identify as they or them or a lamppost. Our stance and our bill is about the rights, safety, and protection of women and girls who want safe spaces and bathrooms, fairness in sports, and to protect their rights as women. If you seriously want to protest against that cause then you will find yourself on the wrong side of history. We would wish you luck in your journey to figure that out, but it seems you would be too stupid to know what to do with it.

Standing room only today at our public meeting in Cambridge. Another fantastic crowd with lots of support. NZFirst is the only party packing halls with true public meetings around the country - the rest use press releases, media stand-ups, and phone booths for their ticketed meetings.

For all those rent-a-crowd protesters in Auckland today protesting against NZFirst’s bill to define in law what a man and woman is - this isn’t about you. You egotistical mouth-breathers can’t even figure out which flag to fly - is it Palestine, rainbow, or the Maori flag? It may come as a surprise to you all but the universe doesn’t just revolve around you. Your egos are only matched by your learning difficulties. This bill is about protecting women and girls’ rights, freedoms, and safety. Not about what you decide to do with your private lives. You’re right about one thing, for us to have to legislate this basic biological reality shows how much the woke mind virus has spread in our society.

Great day at Mystery Creek Fieldays today… The NZFirst stall was constantly busy all day with lots of great support and feedback from everyone. Very positive reception walking around and talking with the rural community and families.

Labour just wants to hand out “free stuff” like Oprah. It took two and a half years, a bonfire of useless old policy, a lame excuse to wait for the budget, and all Labour could come up with was ‘capping public transport costs’…but just for some people…just in some areas…just for some things. Labour says public transport will only cost up to $20 a week then it’s free. Newsflash: nothing is ever “free”. “Free” actually means taxpayers pay for it - because whether Labour understands it or not, money doesn’t grow on trees. And guess what. People who are riding on public transport are the taxpayers who are going to pay for it. Labour’s big plan is to move $65m from the National Land Transport Fund to pay for it all. That automatically means something else that money was already allocated to will now not be paid for - or they have to either borrow more or tax you more. They already said they want everyone to get three “free” doctor’s visits as well. It’s starting to sound like an Oprah Winfrey episode where everyone gets free stuff handed out. You get one, you get one, everyone gets one! Just in the last few months NZFirst has already announced policies on breaking up the power companies, splitting the supermarket duopoly, establishing a competitive state owned bank, returning royalties to the regions, creating a KiwiSaver generation for newborns and increasing contributions, establishing a NZ Future Fund…and there are many more coming. Those are what you call real policies that tackle the cost of living issues for kiwis and start to build a country we are all proud of. Labour just wants to hand out “free stuff” like Oprah.

The incident at Khandallah yesterday was concerning, and our thoughts are with those on board. The network is designed with multiple layers of safety. If a train passes a red signal at Khandallah, it is diverted to a runoff line to prevent any risk of collision with another train. The carriages also appear to have responded as designed — while the images are alarming, two critical safety systems appear to have functioned as intended. The facts will be determined by independent investigators. That is TAIC’s role, and its findings will be made public as is appropriate. We encourage TAIC to complete its investigation promptly and thoroughly.

Wrong. It’s an ‘unrelenting assault’ on Maori elitist troughers and bureaucratic separatists stuck to the teat of the taxpayer in make-work schemes like the Waitangi Tribunal.

Because the PSA union leadership are card carrying members of the Labour Party. Why the media continue with this facade of the PSA having any independence or credibility is frankly astounding.

NZFirst heard the feedback from you about the proposed homeschooling amendment and we helped the minister make that change. Due to the urgency of the matter, we met with the Minister for Education yesterday evening and this morning to work together to find a solution and a way forward on the matter. NZFirst worked well with Minister Stanford to get this done. The result has been the removal of the homeschooling provision. We are a party of practical action not pretentious mimicry - we don’t rely on soundbites and performative expressions of concern in posts and letters like other parties in parliament tend to do.

Terribly sad news to hear that Costa, the longtime owner and host of the Green Parrot, has passed away. He was always a gracious and kind person who put all of his energy and spirit into the Green Parrot. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends on this seriously sad news. He will be deeply missed.

Pleased to announce $35m in new funding for St John today as part of NZFirst coalition agreement commitment. Funding for front line services like St John is essential for every Kiwi to know they are safe and looked after. This extra funding will go a long way, but we will keep fighting to ensure our emergency services always get what they need to continue the great job in service for all New Zealanders.
