Had a great convo with the @_hex_tech team - here's what I shared about our data work at @airwallex -> Insights per minute is the metric that matters. Not data points, not dashboards - how fast you turn a question into an insight and then into decision. -> Evaluate the founder's vision, not the feature list. Every analytics vendor looks the same on features now. -> The model is commoditized. The harness around it - context eval - is what you're actually buying. -> Buy and build. Self-serve tools plus custom data apps built with Claude Code, all sharing the same eval and context layer so everything compounds. Full convo below.

It's great to see how naturally teams are combining Postgres ClickHouse, along with Hex to create real-world AI-native applications, not just "toy" projects. Fable 5 broke our evals! It fully saturated our own "Shorelane" test set, so we had to scramble to create new ones for @_hex_tech It's the first model since 4.5 to show a meaningful step forward – and a big step toward more complex and long-horizon analysis tasks.

Our team ran a series of complex analytical evals against Fable and were so impressed... we built harder evals! Fable is a step level improvement and we're excited to start rolling it out this week in @_hex_tech
