Valentine was an amazing campaigner who did so much to support communities in #Nottingham.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Valentine's family and friends and her colleagues at @MojatuF .

Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Valentine Nkoyo, an inspiring campaigner for the rights of women and girls. I learned so much from her.
Thanks to her work with @MojatuF, Nottingham became the first UK city to declare zero tolerance for FGM. Her legacy will live on.

Full council remembers Dr Rose Thompson and Leonie Meikle who sadly passed away. Dr Thompson was a champion of health equality and cancer support services. Leonie Meikle worked in education and was formerly the City Council's Head of the School Governors Service #FullCouncil
