Over the last few weeks, there’s been a lot of discussion around alignment.
First a great collectible needs cultural relevance, fandom, and a growing audience. That’s why we’ve spent the last 3 years building Chimpers as a brand, growing our content, social presence, and reach far beyond Web3.
That work takes time. You can’t fast track people falling in love with characters, stories, and worlds.
But while we focused on growth, we also made a conscious decision:
Put collectors at the centre of everything.
Over the last year, we’ve been rebuilding the foundations to make that possible.
• Published the CHMPAPER, creating a framework where brand growth,
$CHMPSTR, and the wider ecosystem can work together, with value flowing back into the Chimpers world.
• Migrated to a royalty-enforcing contract. Over 3,800 holders migrated, allowing us to continue reinvesting back into the community, even with lower market volumes.
• Built a treasury funded through royalties, CHMPSTR fees, and our own brand revenues. Today it holds 50M
$CHMPSTR and 140 NFTs, with a portion dedicated towards future rewards.
• Expanded the collection itself, giving holders more ways to express their identity through pixels, kawaii art, full body, and more, aligning the collection more closely with the brand’s evolution.
• Invested heavily in lore, storytelling, and worldbuilding. Every one of the 5,555 Chimpers now has a unique identity, story, region, and place within the Chimpverse, built from the foundations of our original six-chapter novel.
• Launched Chimpers World, a dedicated website for our history, culture, characters, and community, ensuring anyone can easily dive into the universe we’ve built together.
• Increased holder opportunities through raffles, allowlists, mints, and partnerships because collecting should be rewarding, but it should also be fun for degens!
• Began bringing back beloved experiences like Chimpvolutions that made collecting exciting in the first place, with more to come.
And perhaps most importantly:
We launched the Dojo Club Collector Hub.
A system built entirely around collectors after almost a year of development.
Your NFTs, collectibles, art, merch, participation, loyalty, and history all contribute towards your collector profile.
Holders can earn over 100 Chimpin badges, recognition, status, rewards, and soon participate in seasonal raffles based on their collector score.
Because we believe the future isn’t just about owning an NFT.
It’s about belonging to an ecosystem that recognises and rewards the people who helped build it (in a sustainable way).
As the brand continues to grow, the NFTs remain at the centre.
Because ultimately, they’re the people who were here from the beginning.
You may have seen me share this post before, and while there is no single correct path, it feels like this conversation is still flying under the radar.
Projects like Good Vibes Club, Apes, Quirkies, Claynos, and others aren’t just talking about alignment, they’re actively executing thoughtful systems that better connect ecosystem growth with collector value.
NFTs will always be evolving.
This is our way 🫡
