The oldest forest is 385 million years old. The most modern technology we have is nature itself. 🌳✨
So proud to announce the JunglePunk Fund on @Artizen

We are making the revitalization of this common good a game called Aura Awakening 🕊
Students farm Aura when they engage with the activities, and high Aura unlocks perks like gardening tools and gear
Web3 onboarding included, to make it Cosmolocal🤯
We are fundraising on @Artizen, please check it out: artizen.fund/index/p/aura-aw…
Can we regenerate such area both ecologically by using Nature's tech and culturally by using humans digital tech?
Too Junglepunk? No way.

Introducing Morals: the morality graph. We will improve the morals of crypto by rewarding those with good morals & punishing immoral people. The mechanism: To proclaim someone is good, send them ≥ 1 MORALS. To proclaim they are bad, send them < 1 MORALS. morals.fyi
Thinking of a plan to onboard some young Regens this winter.
These students are in a quest to farm "Aura" when engaging with the recovery of this abandoned basketball court.
They will earn NFT badges and can level up from Common > Rare > Epic > Legendary. They are pretty thrilled.
They've been producing cheese, pruning syntropic nests, harvesting and processing arrow roots, building friendships and realizing that they can also do it. We also learn so much from these smart kids.
That's priceless 🙏
nature 🤝 systems
what you water grows
sunlight, soil, attention, capital
they all determine what thrives
if we start funding regeneration
that’s what takes root
the future isn’t random
it’s cultivated

I (DJ) have been teaching 50 high school juniors and seniors on the subject of Recovery of Degraded Lands.
Meanwhile, just accross the street the school cant keep up with the demands of this old court (they now have a gym)
It has a lot of potential

The more one immerses onerself in a life also dedicated to establishing agroecosystems one starts to leave threads of successional processes behind
What we see now is a very different landscape than when we started it. In one day we planted a 5x5m module that tbey repeated over. They want to make it a part of an Animal Sanctuary network of farms.
In paralell with the successional onboarding, there's the web3 onboarding, that started back then. Now at a point of trust that might bring them to @artizen, to the Junglepunk fund 🌱
Get yourself some meaningful digital artifacts anon. Rene kickstarted an onchain economy of values, and it's up to us to enjoy the Rewards of all those Artifacts 🫘
Experiences are everything.

Looking back to when I wrote this article (paragraph.com/@diogoj/).
We had recently planted the system pictured in the article in Juiz de Fora - MG during the Spring of 2022. In the end of the article I start sharing the plans of planting Redemption Hill.
I got so happy weeks ago when I received this video from the Juiz de Fora friend showing a dear visiting his 3 year old food forest.
A syntropic system becomes home for wildlife way before the trees grow. Shrubs, bananeiras and other early stages species are key for this.
Can you spot the dear (after the 30s)?

The link leads to a different post. This is the one post where I refer to - and share pictures of - this system where these large mammals are being spotted:
