Today, we welcome Proxh to the roster.
Yusuf has been one of the most exciting talents coming out of EMEA, and watching him develop over the past year has been genuinely exciting. After gaining the experience he needed with EP this season, I believe he's more than ready to compete at the VCT level. I'm happy to be working with him and to see him represent Gentle Mates once more. Hoş geldin kardeşim
@proxhh 🤍
With this move, GLYPH will be stepping to the bench. I have nothing but love and respect for Conner. He's a hard worker and has a great personality. I want to personally thank him for everything he contributed during his time with us, and I wish him nothing but the best going forward. If any team wants to know more about him, my DMs are open.
I know most of you are wondering why we made this change right after qualifying for EWC, so I'll be transparent.
Missing London was a hard lesson for us. On top of that, the role swap we made helped us prepare better for qualifiers. But qualifying for the tournament doesn't mean we should ignore the problems that were there. There were areas we'd been working on for a while where we didn't see the improvement we needed as a team, and we couldn't build the consistency we were looking for as a whole. Ultimately, we made this decision to give ourselves the best chance at qualifying to the Champions and to set up a stronger Stage 2.
We also have to think beyond this year. Building Gentle Mates the right way, not just for 2026 but for the years ahead, is something we take seriously. Bringing Proxh in now is an important step in that direction.
I hope this gives some clarity on where we stand. As a full team, we're heading back to Berlin tomorrow and will be back in full prep mode for EWC and Stage 2 within two days.
Thank you for the support.
