British guitarist #AmandaCook, a fine solo player and also a member of the #VidaGuitarQuartet, plays a cool version of jazz pianist #George Shearing's 1950s standard 'Lullaby of Birdland.' Dig that walkin' bass that crops up in places! #classicalguitar#jazzguitar

Me to young pupil: watch put for the accidentals.
Yp: what's an accidental?
Me: a note with a sharp or flat which is not in the hey signature.
Yp: do i play it by accident?
Me: no you play it intentionally.
Yp: they should be called intentionals then.
Can't beat the logic there.
