Me to young pupil: watch put for the accidentals.
Yp: what's an accidental?
Me: a note with a sharp or flat which is not in the hey signature.
Yp: do i play it by accident?
Me: no you play it intentionally.
Yp: they should be called intentionals then.
Can't beat the logic there.
