Well, it’s been settled that, if given a choice, I won’t be flying @AirCanada again. Lost a full day of an int’l family trip due to delays, but AC will not honor a return date change so that I can maintain the original trip length... 1/3

With that delay/rebooking, @AirCanada also changed the ownership of a @united ticket. Now, I can’t even pay to change my return flight with either airline. It makes no sense. On top of the lost travel day, I’ve lost several hours over 2 days with the back-and-forth calls… 2/3

My new itinerary included a 16-HOUR layover. Yup. Thanks, @united. I gave up, went home, rebooked for tomorrow — and was charged for it. Other airlines, OTOH, provided travel waivers. 🤷🏻♀️
