Passkeys have moved from pilot projects to enterprise roadmaps, but large-scale deployment remains elusive.
New research from the FIDO Alliance and HID found that while 93% of organizations are somewhere on the passkey adoption journey, only 13% have deployed passkeys at scale.
The report also highlights persistent identity challenges, with 70% of organizations reporting at least one identity-related security incident and 59% managing three or more credential systems.
