A powerful evening of truth, reflection and collective care. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our latest community assembly. Together, we created a vital space to explore the often-overlooked impact that financial pressures have on the mental health and wellbeing of Black women. The thoughtful conversations, shared experiences and collective wisdom in the room reminded us that these challenges are not faced in isolation—and that community, understanding and action are essential. A huge thank you to our speakers, partners and everyone who attended and contributed to such an honest and empowering discussion. Your voices matter, and this conversation doesn't end here. 💚 Here's to continuing to centre Black women's wellbeing, challenge inequalities and build healthier futures together. #BlackWomen #MentalHealth #FinancialWellbeing #HealthEquity #BlackThrive #CommunityCare #MentalHealthMatters #BlackWomenWellness

Growing up Black and LGBT can feel isolating , but it doesn't have to. If you're Black, LGBT and aged 18-25, we'd love you to volunteer with us. You'll meet LGBT friends, learn new skills and make a difference. You'll be trained to speak in schools about your lived experiences, becoming the representation you needed growing up - helping LGBT young people feel seen and less alone. The best part? You can take part from anywhere in the UK and our next training is fully online on 11-12 June! 📆 Ready to make a difference? Sign up now: gtlk.link/1B2BEJq5

Black Thrive was at the Black Health Inequalities Summit last week — connecting with organisations and people who are all working to shift the reality of health inequalities facing Black communities. It was a space for honest conversations, shared experiences, and real thinking about what needs to change. From mental health to access to care and everything in between. Good to be in the room with others who are pushing for the same thing: better, fairer health outcomes for our communities. #BlackHealth #HealthEquity #BlackThrive #CommunityPower

Culture of Care has officially come to a close 🎉 We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this journey. What began as a programme has grown into a shared commitment to embedding care, equity, and reflection across our work 💛 Over the past months, we’ve created space for learning, honest conversations, and collective growth, all rooted in our mission to support better mental health outcomes for Black communities. We marked the programme’s completion in March with a celebration, bringing people together as the community we’ve built along the way ❤️ The programme may have ended, but the work, and the culture of care, continues.

Angel Town was full of Easter cheer on 4 April as families came together for the return of our Easter Egg Giveaway. Children enjoyed Easter eggs, smiles, and a fun afternoon in a safe, welcoming community space, while neighbours connected and shared in the spirit of the season. Events like this are all about bringing people together and creating moments of joy right here in the heart of the community. A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a positive one 💛
