2 girls on my train have just been fined for having tickets for a later train and no money for a ticket now, when we offered to buy their tickets, the ticket bloke said it’s against the law to buy tickets for others. What a fucking backwards country we live in, full of jobsworths

Apparently, "being mindful" is simply not using the fountain and buying plastic. I thought being mindful was avoiding unnecessary waste. Filled my bottle just fine at the years-old filling station at @EDI_Airport the morning. Wtf @DublinAirport??

For the record, I asked the cafes/restaurants to fill it at their taps, but they said their water isn't potable!? 😂 So at least beyond US pre-clearance (after TSA makes you dump any liquids), the only drinkable water is in profit-seeking plastic.
