It’s International Albinism Awareness Day! Kym Crosby was born with albinism, legally blind with 20/400 vision and having no pigment in her hair, skin or eyes. The Northeast Junior Council of CAF held an Inaugural Awareness Night at the Georgia Room in New York City. It was a high-energy evening bringing together emerging leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers in support of athletes with physical disabilities! The evening blended celebration with purpose, raising critical awareness and funding to ensure cost is never a barrier to participation in sport. Over 180 people attended and raised over $60,000.
