UPDATE | A helicopter crashed into the Ottawa River near Garrison Petawawa during training this morning, according to the Department of National Defence.
Of the 4 people on board, 2 are in hospital and 2 are missing.
The @TownofPetawawa says it has stopped taking water from the Ottawa River as a precaution after the crash and has banned non-essential watering, such as for lawns or gardens.
