My new blog post "Reluctance To Process Contributions, and Tips from InnerSource" harihareswara.net/posts/2022… may be of interest if you contribute to or maintain open source, or work in a big software org where different teams have trouble collaborating on shared dependencies.

harihareswara.net/posts/2022… I frequently notice folks asking or answering questions like "how many contributors does this open source project have?" or "how much contribution is this project getting?" amiaopensource.github.io/ffm… is an example of why those aren't simple questions.

I'll have low availability till early March, FYI. harihareswara.net/posts/2022… Email & mastodon.social/@brainwane/ will work better than other means for contacting me before then.

In 2019, pipenv made no releases. Changeset helped them get back on track in 2020, and they stayed on track in 2021. Their first 2022 release just came out. How I did it, in ~15 hours of work: harihareswara.net/posts/2020… I also spoke about it at openSUSE: media.ccc.de/v/3531-live-res…
